Objective

Alicia had a closet full of beautiful clothes but found she would wear the same looks over and over again. I came in and pulled together fresh color combinations that she had not yet tried. It was spring, so I worked with the most lively garments in her wardrobe. We identified our top two priorities for Alicia's Private Pop-Up Shop - updating her shoe options and sourcing higher quality and better-fitting smart casual dress pants. Alicia already owned a collection of denim that she loved, but felt like she didn't have outfits that could transition from a casual day at the office to dinner. That became my third wardrobe styling mission - to build out this category and complete her comprehensive and functional wardrobe.

Step 2: Private Pop-Up Shop

Alicia's best fit for her smart casual dress pant is a mid rise ankle length or full length straight leg. Her shirts should all be tucked in. Loafers were her number one shoe style of choice; she was drawn to them for the polished modern vibe plus ultimate comfort. Here are some of the brand new business casual looks I shopped and styled for her.

Integrating her denim collection with what I purchased, I styled this collection of smart casual office-to-dinner looks for Alicia, filling in a major category gap in her wardrobe. This palette complimented her skin, hair, and eyes and the vibe had her feeling effortlessly put together. I added a bonus dress for her upcoming warmer weather vacation.

Alicia also had a collection of blouses and blazers in her wardrobe that we wanted to pair with new pants. I asked her to bring specific items to the studio and I put together these fresh combinations mixing items I purchased for her with pieces she already owned.
