Professional Maternity
Year: Fall into Winter 2024
This client hired us when she was 6 months pregnant and about to start a new job. She was planning to go back to work as soon as possible after giving birth, and wanted to invest in a professional capsule wardrobe that would continue to work for her as her body changed.
Knowing the limitations in maternity design, we strategically built a collection using empire waist dresses, elastic waist skirts, and knits with stretch that could accommodate body changes, topping off the looks with blazers and cardigans.
The client's priorities were:
Not needing to purchase new clothes during the winter months after she gave birth.
Bold prints, interesting stitching, and garments that mix prints.
