Age: Mid 40's
Year: 2025
Profession: Grief Coach
ABOUT THE CLIENT/ client back story
This client runs a very successful business training and certifying people to be grief counselors. She had experienced a lot of loss personally in her life over the past few years, including losing her mom. Her wardrobe had been reflecting her grief and she came to us because she wanted a fresh start. This client wanted to invite in a bright and colorful wardrobe that could be used as a tool to help lift her out of the sadness. She coaches on holding both grief and joy at the same time and we used her wardrobe as a way to assist in that process of holding space for her full range of feelings and emotions.
STYLE PRIORITIES FOR This collection
Saturated colors
Color combinations - pink and green, mustard and magenta, monochromatic green outfits, and monochromatic pink/purple outfits.
Soft and comfortable fabrics.
Necklines should not feel like they are choking her.
Mostly solids, with a few bold prints.
Our focus for her wardrobe
During our collaborative design week together, it became evident that this client truly did want a collection full of saturated colors. We leaned into colorful sneakers, beaded necklaces, and statement rings that tied the overall palette together. There was not a dull garment in the bunch and when the packages arrived and her personalized mini-boutique was set up, our studio has never felt more joyful!
Final looks
This is just a small collection of the outfits we styled for this collection. We ended up mixing and matching the items she kept to create 32 fresh and inspired looks! We received this text the morning after her fitting. "I woke up today feeling better than I have in awhile! I am so excited and grateful for this experience and healing!"
